Richardson Stadium is a 6,000-seat multi-purpose stadium in Davidson, North Carolina. It is home to football, lacrosse, and the athletic team, Davidson College Wildcats. The stadium combines Stephen B. Smith Field and Irwin Belk Track. It also hosted the NCAA Men's Soccer Championship on three occasions from 1992-1994. Each fall the stadium acts as the beginning and end of the new generation Davidson Cake Competition, where students who enter run the course around the campus in a competition for cakes baked by local residents. The facility was opened in 1923 after donation to college by Lunsford Richardson, Jr., Davidson 1914 class, and his brother Henry Smith Richardson, Davidson class of 1906, in memory of their father, Lunsford Richardson, Sr., Davidson class from 1875. Then renovated on 1998 and again in 2005 with the latter providing improved facilities including expanded seating, new press boxes, lift rooms, and visitor locker rooms.

Occasional stadium will host the home game of the Charlotte Eagles Lamar Hunt U.S. when their stadium is not big enough for demand.
