New Braunfels High School (commonly referred to as NBHS ) is a public high school in New Braunfels, Texas (USA) dating back to 1845. Until 2008, New Braunfels was wrong one of the largest 4A high schools in Texas and is now classified as a 6A school by UIL in 2016. In 2015, the school was rated "Met Standard" by the Texas Education Agency.

The Haitian national football team temporarily held a training session at the New Braunfels High School stadium, when Stade Sylvio Cator, the team home field, was used as a tent city for earthquake victims in Haiti in January 2010.

Academics

Some New Braunfels graduates have been named Scholars, Finalists, Semi-Finalists, and Praised by the National Scholarship Program. Along with 4 core areas, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and English, NBHS offers many career classes. These range from Business Management to Automotive Technicians. New Braunfels High School also offers an Advanced Placement class.

In 2014-2015, New Braunfels High School students score an average of 1023 (on the critical reading and math section) on the SAT admissions test. This is above the state and national averages, which are 956 and 1006 respectively.
