Larry Timothy Perrin , JD, is the sixth president of Lubbock Christian University in Lubbock, Texas. Tim Perrin was inaugurated on 27 September 2012, replacing Dr. L. Ken Jones.

Initial career
Perrin is a trial lawyer at Gary, Thomasson, Hall & amp; Marks Professional Corporation in Corpus Christi, Texas from 1987-1992. Perrin defends the company in general civil litigation in state and federal courts.
In 1992, Perrin began teaching law at Pepperdine University. In 2003 he became the first Associate Provost of Pepperdine, and in 2007 he became the first Vice Dean of the Pepperdine University Law School.

Perrin is one of the authors of The Art & amp; Science of Trial Advocacy (LexisNexis 2009, Second Edition 2011), and co-author of the case file collection: Case File for Basic Trial Advocacy, also published by LexisNexis. Perrin has also written more than 15 legal review articles.
Education
Perrin received a Bachelor of Arts in History from Lubbock Christian University in 1984. While at LCU, Perrin served as student body president last year and played for the LCU Chaparral basketball team for four years. He holds the LCU men's basketball record for the highest free throw percentage in a single season with 89.8%. He graduated summa cum laude.
Perrin graduated cum laude with Juris Doctor from Texas Tech University School of Law in 1987. While in law school he served as associate editor of a legal review, had two articles published in Texas Tech Law Review, and received an Exceptional Written Supreme Commentary. He was elected to membership into the Order of the Coif and a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society.
