The 2006-07 Florida Gators male basketball team represents the University of Florida in basketball sports during the college basketball season 2006-07. Gators competed in Division I of the National Athletics Association (NCAA) and the Eastern Conference Division of the Southeast Conference (SEC). They are led by head coach Billy Donovan, and play their home games at O'Connell Center on the Gainesville, Florida campus.
The Gator wants to repeat as the national champion. Gators finished the season with a record of 26-5 entering the SEC Championship. They won all three games and received the No. 1 seed overall at the NCAA Tournament. They ran through the tournament and reached the final against Ohio State. They beat them 84-75 to become the first team since Duke in 1992 to repeat as National Champion.
