The Rave/Eagles Club (formerly known as Eagles Club and Central Park Athletic Club and Entertainment Center or usually Central Park Ballroom ) is a concert venue and landmark in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Division

The building is divided into six places, making it theoretically possible to play six different acts at the same time.

The Eagles Ballroom

The Eagles Ballroom is an exhibit in this building, featuring a 25,000 square foot (2,300 m) oval timber floor, originally installed when the building was built, beside the ancient vaulted ceiling of a large and ancient. a stage on one side. Originally a ballroom, he has organized everything from boxing matches to concerts to ethnic dances. There is a second floor, with rows of balconies around the oval, from one side of the stage to the other.

The Jonas Brothers performed their first major concert as a headliner here, and filmed part of the show for use in the music video for their ten singles "When You Look Me In The Eyes."

Jason Mraz also filmed all live DVDs here, titled Tonight, Not Again: Jason Mraz Live at the Eagles Ballroom.

The music video for the song CKY Close Yet Far was shot in The Rave.

Several interview clips from All Time Low's 2010 DVD, Straight to DVD were filmed on the rooftops.

The Rave hosted an ECW event in 2000 like Hardcore Heaven in May and various ECWs on TNN episodes.

The Rave Eagles Grand Ballroom currently hosts Milwaukee-based combat sports promotions, American American Fighting Championship (NAFC), MMA & amp; KO Kings Kickboxing.

The Rave Hall

The Rave Hall on the main level is a large concert-style venue, both in size just for the Eagles Ballroom on it. Most of the national tour artists visiting Milwaukee have played here, including John Mayer, Sevendust, GWAR, Regina Spektor, moe., TiÃÆ' Â «sto, Seaway, Chiodos and Bob Weir.

The Eagles Hall

The Eagles Hall, formerly called Basement, (or Underground) is a Miami-style place built in the basement of the building. Features unique wooden flooring, often rented by community members for wedding receptions. It has hosted such action as Buzzcocks, Owl City, Muse, Nickelback, Boys Like Girls, Fugazi, 3 Doors Down, Gov't Mule, and Third Eye Blind.

Rave Bar

The Rave Bar is an intimate little club. Many actions have made their Wisconsin debut here, including Dave Matthews Band, Nirvana, Les Claypool, Features, Third Eye Blind, Smash Mouth, Blink-182, Creed, Pearl Jam, Red Is The Sea, Cody Hansen, Unlimited Music Production - UPM (featuring: Ewill, Rob, Killah and Prod) and Tantric.

Space Rave Vibe

The Rave Vibe Room is designed to showcase coming and coming bands, similar to The Rave Bar, while also serving DJs.

The Penthouse Lounge

At the concierge level (level 2) and conveniently hold a group of 200 or more with full bar, seating table, and optional stage. Key events include Trevin SkyDiving incident.

Eagles Club

The Eagles Club was named for the National Register of Historic Places on 29 July 1986. This club is a significant example of the architecture of the 19th and 20th Awakening, especially from 1924, 1927, and 1939.

History

  • The main opening for the Eagles Building was September 13, 1927.

Since it was built in 1926, the Eagles Club has known several incarnations. The Eagles pushed for the foundations of Mother's Day, provided impetus for the national Social Security program, and campaigned to eliminate employment discrimination on the basis of age. The building now operates as The Rave/Eagles Club, a music supplier to Milwaukee for twenty years.
