Charcandrick West (born June 2, 1991) is an American football that ran back for Kansas City Chief of the National Football League (NFL). West plays college football at Abilene Christian University.

West was born in Shreveport, Louisiana and later lived in Cullen, Louisiana. He attended high school at Springhill High School in Springhill, Louisiana, where he wrote all four years in football for head coach Joey Pesses. He was named after his all-year senior country after getting all the honorary districts in his second year, junior, and senior. As a senior, he rushed for 1,350 for 16 goals on 89 carry.
In addition to his successful soccer career, West is a prominent pioneer in track & amp; field team. He still holds school and district records in a 100 meter run with a time of 10.34 seconds.

College career
West initially committed to Louisiana Tech University as a cornerback in 2010. He was also recruited by Arkansas, Arkansas State, Louisiana-Monroe, and Nebraska.
West was transferred to Christian University of Abilene during the summer training camp. After transferring, the West switched from cornerback to running back.

Professional career
season 2014
West signed a contract with Kansas City Chief as a free agent not revoked on May 12, 2014.
West was released during the final round of trimming during the 2014 season on 30 August. The next day, after clearing dry, the Chiefs sign West to their training team. On November 11, he was appointed to the Chairman's active list. He appeared in six games in the rookie season but did not record significant offensive statistics.
season 2015
On October 11, 2015, running back Jamaal Charles tore his ACL and ruled out for the rest of the season, and West began to replace it. His first start was in Week 6 against Minnesota Vikings. Through Week 11, he rushed for 373 yards on a roughly 98 attempts. He was taken out early due to a hamstring injury in a Week 11 match against the San Diego Chargers. Running back Knile Davis and Spencer Ware support West for the remainder of the season. He finished the season with a 634 yards in bringing 160, along with four hurried goals. The Chiefs do a playoff and face the Houston Texans in the Wild Card Round. In a 30-0 victory over Texas troops, he has eight shots as far as 26 yards. In the Division Round against the New England Patriots, he has a rushing 61 yards and a rushing touchdown in a 27-20 loss.
season 2016
On September 18, 2016, West ran for a 61-meter high season in six brought against the Houston Texans. West set a record 21 yards and ran 28 yards. On October 30, 2016, West ran as far as 52 yards and 14 high seasons brought against the Indianapolis Colts. On November 6, 2016, West recorded a 24-page reception against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Chiefs do a playoff and face off against the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Division Round. In a loss of 18-16, he has two receptions for 14 meters.
2017 seasons
With the advent of Kareem Hunt in the Chiefs backfield, West's role was in accepting games for most of his output. In the opening season against defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots on Thursday Night Football he had a strong 21-yard touchdown by the end of the fourth quarter to place Chiefs by two possession in 42- 27 victories. On October 8, against Houston Texans, he has two receptions for 12 yards and two receives a goal. Overall, he finished the 2017 season with 72 yards rushing, two rushing touchdowns, 27 receptions, 150 receiving yards, and two receiving touchdowns. The Chiefs do a playoff and face off against Tennessee Titans in the Wild Card Round. In the 22-21 loss, he has two receptions for one yard but adds three kicks back for 66 yards net.
